The Day Centre
2007 not so long ago,
The Day Centre we so visited.
To meet new friends and have some fun,
It was the same for everyone.
They greeted us with smiling faces
They put us all at ease.
They made us feel welcome,
And said do exactly what you please
We shared lovely thoughts and experiences,
With people of a similar age.
With past and present memories,
And of many Happy Days.
We miss our friends when they are not here,
We miss their chat and banter.
We miss their happy smiling face,
And the joy of all their laughter.
